FFA Students Win 1st Place With Stockosorb Demonstration

Lynne Cuda, Kate Wheeldon and Karen March, FFA members, present their polymer demonstration at the FFA District Agricultural Contest in Schuyler, Nebraska.

(SCHUYLER, NEBRASKA) January 18, 2005 - Future Farmers of America (FFA) members - Lynne Cuda, Kate Wheeldon and Karen March - won first place with their Stockosorb demonstration at the FFA District Agricultural Contest in Schuyler, Nebraska in January 2005.

The competition was an agricultural demonstration. Students chose topic of current interest in agriculture and were judged on presentation content, speaking ability and style. Lynne, Kate and Karen explained how polymers work and how they are used in agriculture today.

In fact, Lynne, Kate and Karen are such good speakers they took two ribbons - 1st and 2nd place! However, their 2nd place demonstration was not about Stockosorb.

Lynne, Kate and Karen will compete in the State FFA agricultural demonstration contest in March.
